Misfits Doing Good Post date September 22, 2022 The 14th annual Faith Presbyterian Hospice Car and Truck Show, hosted by Lake Cities Misfits Car Club, was held on Saturday, September 17, at Huffines Subaru in Corinth, just outside of Dallas. Entry was free to the public and the show benefitted the Faith Presbyterian Hospice Caring Fund (The Caring Fund). The Caring Fund provides charitable care, grief support, therapeutic massages, music therapy, Faithful Wishes and specialized clinical care at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center. The family-friendly event featured automobiles from every era. Owners competed for custom-made trophies awarded in several categories: Best of Era, Best of Show, Special Awards and Faith Presbyterian Hospice’s pick, awarded to John Gibson for his beautiful 1956 Chevy Nomad. The car show was created by Brad Soper, a member of the Lake Cities Misfits Car Club, as a means to give back to hospice care after his father’s passing. The event raised more than $1,500 through entry fees and donations for The Caring Fund. Click here to view a video of the fun day! ← Older Posts Newer Posts →
