Celebrating Presbyterian Village North Activity Professionals

This week, Presbyterian Village North (PVN) honors the dedicated Activity Professionals who enrich the lives of residents in all areas of care. National Activity Professionals Week, observed the week of January 20, 2025, shines a spotlight on the creativity, compassion and commitment of these teammates who craft engaging programs to uplift and inspire the PVN community.

On January 20, the team came together for a celebratory lunch to recognize their outstanding contributions. During the gathering, a heartfelt poem was shared, capturing the essence of their work:

A week to praise, a week to cheer,
For those who bring joy, year after year,
Activity Pros, with hearts so bright,
Filling each day with laughter and light. 

From games and crafts to music’s beat,
They spark engagement, making life sweet,
With gentle guidance, a caring hand,
A vibrant world, at their command. 

In senior homes, where memories reside,
They weave connections, with love as their guide,
A smile, a dance, a story to share,
A moment of joy, beyond compare. 

So let us raise a toast, this week we say,
To Activity Pros, who brighten each day,
For their dedication, their passion so true,
A heartfelt thank you, to each and every you.
