FLF Teammate Spotlight: Rose Donahue Post date October 29, 2024 Rose Donahue recently joined the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF) team as Philanthropy Officer – Corporate and Annual Giving. In her role, she looks forward to building strong donor relationships as well as securing funding for critical initiatives while advancing the Forefront Living mission “to make each moment matter for those we serve.” We sat down with Rose to learn more about her through a fun question and answer session. What are you passionate about regarding your professional role?I’m passionate about bringing people together for causes that truly matter. I love seeing how generosity can change lives and strengthen our community. Every connection and every dollar raised is important. What is something that makes you feel proud?I am proud of raising and nurturing my children, who are wonderful and joyful individuals. Supporting their journey is a rewarding experience that inspires my work and life every day. On the weekend, you can find me:During weekends, I love spending time with my family, which usually includes acting as chauffeur for my children’s dance and sports activities. We’re always around town, and we visit the Arboretum, NorthPark Center and bookstores often. I also enjoy art and reading, preferably outside. What are some of your favorite foods and restaurants?My simple favorite is sourdough toast and raspberry jam. I love lots of fresh veggies and big salads. My favorite dish to order is an elaborate salad. As far as restaurants go, I enjoy Toulouse and Le Bilboquet and often go to DeLucca Gaucho. Share your hobbies:In my free time, I enjoy reading, photography and gardening. I also frequently volunteer at my children’s school, Wesley Prep. Share about your family:I have two elementary-aged children, Sebastian and Alice. We have a lovely and sweet lab named Lily Moon Flower Superstar. Each child chose two names for Lily when we adopted her as a puppy three years ago. What makes you a good friend or how would your friends describe you?My friends would describe me as a caring and supportive friend.
