Introducing Heather Logan — Forefront Living Controller Post date October 9, 2022 Forefront Living is pleased to announce Heather Logan as its Controller. Heather brings more than 23 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting and operations management with extensive knowledge of the senior living industry. In her role as Controller, Heather will lead the accounting team to not only report on the financial activities of Forefront Living, but also to develop efficient processes and tools that allow operations and marketing to quickly adjust to constant changing market conditions. “We are thrilled to welcome Heather to the Forefront Living Team. Her extensive financial leadership experience will help Forefront Living continue to transform services for our residents, patients and families. I look forward to partnering with her as we support the Forefront Living team.” said Steve Ailey, Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Forefront Living, Heather served as Controller of Southern Home Builders, Inc. in McKinney, Texas. In her role there she oversaw and directed all facets of the day-to-day accounting and finance functions for the company and its affiliates. Prior to her most recent work, Heather held the Chief Financial Officer position at Solterra Management Group (formerly Surpass Senior Living). In that position, some of her responsibilities included hiring, training and mentoring of the accounting team, preparation of capital and operational budgets as well as bond financing and disclosure statement filings. Her senior living experience also includes working for The Legacy Senior Communities and Greystone. “I am excited about joining Forefront Living because I have a passion for senior living,” shared Heather. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Eric, for twenty-seven years, and they are proud of their two children Erica (age 24) and Heath (age 19).
