Her philanthropic journey finds its roots in the lessons passed down by her mother and grandmother, whom she credits for fostering a spirit of compassion and generosity within her. Committed to causes dear to her heart, she dedicates her time to vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, the homeless and the special needs community. She lends her support through volunteer efforts to organizations like Crystal Charity Ball, Equest and Highland Park Presbyterian Church. As she co-chairs the 2024 Each Moment Matters Luncheon, Katherine eagerly anticipates sharing Faith Presbyterian Hospice’s impactful work with the greater community. She aims to educate others on the importance of love and celebration during life’s major transitions, including the move to hospice care—a cause close to her heart. End-of-life care is significant to her because of her personal experiences where compassionate support made all the difference. To Katherine, the mission of “To Make Each Moment Matter” embodies the essence of cherishing life’s fleeting moments and spreading kindness to those in need. ← Older Posts Newer Posts →
